Our care home is set within a quiet, picturesque part of the highlands, but adventures are never too far away with a wide variety of attractions right on our doorstep. We couldn’t be more ideally located for those who enjoy the great outdoors as both Ganavan Sands and Pulpit Hill are just a short distance from our home and provide great opportunities for walking, picnics, and admiring wildlife. We are situated in the perfect place for family days out and no matter what age or interests, there is something for every generation in and around our care home.
Just 15 minutes from our home is the town centre of Oban, and here residents can find a variety of local amenities, such as supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and independent shops. We have our own transport at Etive House Care Home which we encourage our residents to make full use of for running their errands and Oban train station is just under 8 miles away for those trips with family and friends where they want to explore further afield. Our activities team is fantastic at ensuring our residents make the most of their local community and have built relationships that enable residents to get involved and be social.
