Introducing ‘Oomph! On Demand’ at Etive House

At Etive House Care Home, we are delighted to announce that we will be partnering with the award-winning social enterprise Oomph!

Through a variety of exercises and activities, Oomph! drives the impact of aging in a positive way, with the motto ‘Full Life for Life’. The team at Oomph! strongly believe that no matter what someone's passion, interests, or physical ability, their team of dedicated experts can help them enjoy life, after all, you only have one so let’s give it some Oomph!

Oomph! & Etive House

Both residents and staff will have access to the online activity platform, which will help engage them in a holistic world of wellbeing. With access to a variety of programmes such as live music and entertainment, as well as activities such as quizzes, puzzles and books, the residents will have a whole host of things to see and do.

The team is able to create printouts of some of the materials for residents to physically complete, whilst each lounge will have a SMART TV that will be logged into the Oomph! account and they will be able to sit back and enjoy relaxation music and videos or take part in pre-recorded chair exercises.

At Etive House Care Home in Oban, we care very much about the overall wellbeing of our staff and residents, and also recognise the importance of having a varied activities programme that keeps residents stimulated, entertained, and active. We place a high value on offering residents opportunities to continue their hobbies, pursue new interests and make new friends. We are excited to bring this new opportunity to our residents and look forward to seeing the success of this new partnership.
