We believe that viewing a movie has the capacity to transfer you to another world, to make you laugh, cry, and reminisce in ways that transport you back in time. Our Cinema has been created to bring everyone closer together, including residents, their loved ones as well as staff, by providing a peaceful place for them to spend time with one another.

Our Activities Coordinator is dedicated to offering residents a diverse selection of film titles, ranging from black and white classics to old westerns to more recent releases.

A True Cinematic Experience

We want residents to have a truly cinematic experience, where they can immerse themselves entirely in the film they’re watching owing to the comfortable chairs, surround sound and a bright crisp image. Combined with traditional snacks, our Cinema Room has been purpose-built and fitted out with everything a resident needs to fully enjoy their trip to the in-house movie theatre.

A Film for Everyone

Our broad film library includes everything from classic romances to epic westerns, so there’s something for everyone. Our dedicated Activity Coordinator ensures that the film selection is updated and expanded on a regular basis, ensuring that even our most frequent Cinema Room guests will find something new to enjoy. We ensure that no matter what genre(s) our residents choose, we have a film for them.

Cinema FAQs

Our cinema room has been designed to provide residents with the full cinema experience without having to leave the comfort of their home. From a big screen and comfortable seating, to cinema-style snacks and lots of movie titles to choose from, residents can visit and sit back and unwind.

All residents are welcome to make use of our cinema room as part of their monthly fee. Relatives are also welcome to join loved ones in using our cinema room, and if requested, we can arrange for residents to have private viewings with their friends and family.

We offer a range of film titles and genres and we work closely with our residents to learn about their favourite films so that we can ensure that there is something for everyone. On occasion, we may show special televised events such as sports or national celebrations.
